Format
Table for 6
City
Antalya
Takes place
1 October – 31 October

This table takes place in October.

Once all 6 seats are filled, a suitable day, time and venue are set; you hear by e-mail at least 72 hours ahead.

What's included

  • A curated table

Every profile is reviewed individually; the six people at the table are brought together with care.

  • A private table for six

Not a crowded event: one table, six seats, and one of them is yours alone.

  • Digital Table Guide

The QR code on the table opens conversation questions written for this table.

  • An organised evening

Six Seats sets the day, time and venue; all you have to do is come.

What is this table about?

An evening of conversation at a curated table of six, with people who speak English. Only English is spoken all evening — a conversation, not a lesson: a real evening that runs from everyday life to work.

Who we would like to see at this table

People who want to use their English in a real conversation rather than a textbook; participants at B1 level or above.

  • People working internationally
  • People who have lived abroad
  • Travel lovers
  • Book and series lovers
  • B1 English or above

Every profile is reviewed individually.

What do people talk about?

Travel, work, what you have been reading and watching. The English questions in the Table Guide open the conversation and keep it going.

The six-seat format

This table has exactly 6 seats; your payment makes one of them yours. Once all 6 seats are taken, Six Seats sets a suitable day, time and venue for this table, and every participant hears at the same moment, by e-mail, at least 72 hours ahead. We set the table; all you have to do is come.

  • Your phone number, e-mail address and LinkedIn are never shared with any participant. What you share afterwards is up to you, at the table.
  • Only your age and English level appear next to your masked name.

Table Guide

There is no moderator at this table; there is a card. Scan its QR code and questions written for this type of table open up: to start, to go deeper, to close. One person reads, the table answers in turn.

For example:

Table GuideOpener
Tell us about something you have been working on recently.
One reads, the table answers.

Frequently asked questions

Because six is the number at which one conversation keeps going without splitting. At a bigger table small groups form and someone always ends up just listening. At six, everyone gets a turn — and by the time you leave, you have got to know everyone at the table.

When you reserve your seat, you fill in a short profile. Six Seats reviews each profile against the table's format, its theme and the other profiles at the table. The aim is to bring together six people who can genuinely add something to each other's evening — so you are not buying a ticket to an event, you are taking a seat at a table curated for you.

Every table takes place within a set period, for example in October. Once you have reserved and paid, your seat is yours. When all six seats are filled, Six Seats sets a suitable day, time and venue within that period and e-mails everyone at the same time, at least 72 hours ahead. That is how six people end up at the same table on the same evening.

Payment is taken by card through Biletino. After you reserve your seat we send you to Biletino; once you have paid, come back to your booking page and press “I've Completed the Payment”. After your payment has been checked, your ticket e-mail arrives shortly and your seat is confirmed. Your card details never reach Six Seats.

A six-person table curated for you, the review of every profile, the digital Table Guide and the organisation of the evening: we arrange the day, time and venue. Food and drinks are not included — you choose what to order at the table and pay the venue yourself.

Until the table's date is set, you can request a refund at any time. Once the date is set, you can request one until 6 hours before the table starts; for a table starting at 19:30, the last moment is 13:30 the same day. You request it from your account in one click, and the refund goes back to the card you paid with on Biletino.

Partly. On the table page, participants appear with masked names (e.g. **m** ****a*), next to their age and English level at Meet in English tables. Phone numbers, e-mail addresses and LinkedIn profiles are never shared. Who you are, you tell the table yourself.

At Meet in English tables only English is spoken, all evening; the tables are set up for participants at B1 level or above. The aim is not to speak without mistakes — it is to hold a conversation for an evening. If your level is below that, it is not a shortcoming, just a different format, and we will tell you honestly which table suits you better.

No. A table of six carries its own conversation; it does not need anyone leading it. Every table does have a digital Table Guide, though: scan the QR code on the table and the questions written for that kind of table appear — such as “If you had to live in another country for a year, where would it be and why?” One person reads, and the table answers in turn.

No. Business and New Faces tables are held in Turkish, so their pages and bookings are in Turkish as well. Meet in English is our table for an evening in English.
